i was raised on classic rock. for a long time, i hated it. i once mocked led zeppelin. i thought the who's behind blue eyes was incredibly cheesy, especially the part where he goes all wild. now, the part where he goes all wild is the best part of the song for me. and led zeppelin is something i happily listen to (even search out) in itunes.
i credit this change of heart mostly to karin, who brought 97.1 (the drive) into my life. although they play a lot of the stuff i hated then and hate now, their deep track weekends and thursday artist portraits reintroduced me to a lot of music i dismissed as a rebellious youth.
p.s. i still hate eric clapton.
